Artworx Philippines, Sining Kamalig, and the Araneta Center, celebrate National Arts Month with the launch of CONCUTIO, a solo exhibit and related art events on February 17, 2019.
Metro Manila’s 18 to 25-year-olds are invited to join in the literary contest. Participants need to name the featured painting by Joey Ofludor in this article and interpret it in an original poem. Starting February 1, interested parties can check out surrealist Ofludor’s actual work at Sining Kamalig, Ali Mall. The painting will be on display till March 16.
The poetry contest is open to young adults in Metro Manila, college students & out of school youth alike. The poem must be at least 3 stanzas long, in lyric or free verse, Filipino or English. The deadline for submission of entries is on April 30, 2019.
Submit at ConcutioEvents@gmail.com together with one’s community certificate of residency for out of school youth or certificate of enrollment or school ID for students.
The winner/s will be notified via email and will be announced and awarded by the Araneta Center and Joey Ofludor during the CONCUTIO Workshop Class Exhibit opening on June 2, 2019.

He emerges from his hiatus in a solo art ehibit, dubbed The Leap of Colors, at the Balaw Balaw Restaurant and Art Gallery from November 17 to December 20, 2018. Ofludor’s show is part of the celebration of Angono’s Higantes’ Festival.
The Leap of Colors exhibit features Ofludor’s nature and landscape paintings. True to its name the show promises a grand display of colors, masterful details and surprising 3D elements.
